This book is a great start. It is pretty thorough on describing the basics, tools, techniques, etc. for both silversmith and beaded jewelry. I really appreciated the pictures showing step by step how to do headpins and also wrapped loops. Unfortunately the jewelry projects did not have the same step by step pictures. The instructions seemed to be pretty easy to follow and the projects weren't too advanced.This book seems to be more of a basic explanation of techniques than how to create that finished project.
This book is an excellent overview of basic beginning jewellery-making techniques, from beading to making wire clasps. If your a beginner like me, this book will help you get started.
I like this book, being new to making jewelry, it is very helpful in my learning process.
Instructive, new hobby
The cover is very appealing however the format and images inside are very unprofessional. The layout needs to be revised, images should be larger and resolution much clearer. Adding visuals of certain steps would be beneficial instead of so much text even though the font size is acceptable. Type Os are annoying and should not exist in published work.
Finding this book incredibly useful as I venture forth in this new craft.

Because this is a book for beginners, I expected more and better quality photos. The projects are pretty easy so they wouldn't too difficult to follow without the photos but it would have made this instructional book much more appealing.
