I am currently taking CCNA Security and have found this guide to be some what useful for the class. No fault of the guide, I think it is just the way my particular class is structured. I will hold on to this as I am sure it will come in handy in the field someday when I do move into network security. Keep in mind this is an official Cisco guide so the commands are for the propitiatory IOS on Cisco Routers and the Cisco Security Appliances. My only gripe much like the regular CCNA Portable Command Guide is I wish it would have had an index. It does have a detailed table of contents, but you still have to search for what it is you are trying to configure. I suppose in this case the eBook format would be better as simple Find would get you to where you want to be
If you have the CCNA Security v2 Book, I would say definitely pick this one up because the security book is considered a "booklet" and it skips on pictures for reference. This pocket book really helped with labs and command syntax because there are times when I am not near a computer to see the PowerPoint slides through Net Academy.
This book is well written and very concise. I purchased the CCNA Security 640-554 Official Cert Guide by Keith Barker and read it cover-to-cover, taking notes while I read. I ended up with 99 (8.5 x 11) pages of notes. I then purchased this portable command guide and realized that this book looked a lot like my notes, only better. I could have saved myself some time and used this book instead of taking notes. In terms of IOS commands this book is very similar to the CCNA R&S command guide but it also has screen shots for CCP and ASDM. All-in-all well worth the money.
Has tons of good information, I will continue to use this when I get a job in the Security Field.
This book is a excellent resource for any person seeking to sturdy and test for the CCNA Security certification exam. I recommend this book for pre-test use. I believe this to be currently the best on the market. It is very in-depth and met expectations.Johnson

Single best resource I bought for my CCNA SEC prep. Way more useful than the OCG for sure. Definitely recommend this!
