My 7 year old daughter and I loved reading the experiences of Fanny in France together. It was a wonderful mother/daughter bonding moment.

Lovely

I love the stories from the child's perspective.

It's a fun read, and I have all Alice Waters' books, save one. It's a (slight) shade on the pretentious side, but I couldn't break up the "set" of Waters' books. I'll enjoy having it.
