This is a good book for anyone about to become a lacrosse referee . There are many tips offer ed based on the authors experience . His best advice is having the mindset that no on goes to a game to watch you throw flags , he advises officials to go in and “be green “ and you will have done a good job .
This was a suggested purchase after I downloaded the Boys Lacrosse Rule for 2014. Not too expensive, so I purchased it and highly recommend it to first year officials for the insight of someone who has officiated at all levels.kclaxdad
This book will be specially helpful to new referees. For those that have been it it several years, you'll have all those tips your mentors have been telling you about confirmed. There are very few resources beyond those provided by USL out there for officials. This book provides a great supplement to those resources.
Lots of common sense ideas here but still a good read. I especially liked the section on being physically ready to officiate lacrosse.
Great book if you care enough to know what it takes to be a great official at all levels. Goes beyond just basics.
This was a good job at describing what it takes to officiate a game - good overall perspective. It's geared to less experienced officials, and really goes beyond the rules to describe the game management aspects and how to approach the game.
Easy read.Very informative
If you are new to lacrosse officiating then this is a nice easy read with plenty of good advice for those looking to get better at their craft.
